The Facts: According to Chicago Tribune staffer Brad Biggs, the Bears are signing Barth back on a 1-year contract.
Diehards Line:
Biggs added Barth is getting $155K guaranteed. It should be noted that Barth did nothing to make anybody forget Robbie Gould. While Barth went 18-for-23 on field goals and 1-for-3 at 50 and over, Gould was 10-for-10 on field goals after signing with the Giants (he's now moved on to the 49ers). Still, the Bears are comfortable enough to head into camp with Barth as they guy.
