The Facts: Anderson underwent surgery to repair the meniscus in his right knee the last week of October and continues to recover from his surgery. He has started to run on a treadmill and has said he will be ready for training camp.
Diehards Line:
The Broncos were 27th in the league in rushing (92.8 yards per game), and Anderson had the team’s only 100-yard rushing game of the season. Assuming he's ready for training camp as expected, Anderson should open the season as the starter ahead of Devontae Booker. But Anderson has yet to gain more than 849 yards in a season and the Broncos believe an offseason will enable Booker to lift his play. It'll be a situation worth watching over the offseason.
