The Facts: The Rams have extended Jeff Fisher's contract for two more years, through the 2018 season, a source informed of the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
Diehards Line:
Fisher has already signed the deal, per Rapoport. The Rams' 49-21 embarrassment against the New Orleans Saints in Week 12 gave them six losses in their last seven games, the first time they have had a stretch that bad since Fisher took over in 2012. They're 4-7 despite starting the season off 3-1. And now the schedule becomes scary difficult, with road games against the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks sandwiched between a home game against the Atlanta Falcons. But Fisher doesn't have to worry about his job security.
