We'll see. Ebron's presence is certainly something the Lions were counting on. With fellow former first-round tight end Brandon Pettigrew already on the physically unable to perform list as he recovers from a torn ACL, a serious injury to Ebron would be a major blow for the security-blanket role for quarterback Matthew Stafford. An extended absence for Ebron would leave Matthew Mulligan and Cole Wick as the team's top tight ends. ... We'll continue to watch for more.
