Diehards Line:Brown is now in the league’s concussion protocol and will need to pass the exams that make it up before he’ll be allowed to resume a practice schedule with the team. With more than a month to go until the start of the regular season, Brown should be able to navigate through the protocol with time to spare although it will be something of greater concern if his absence lasts into next week. Brown had 65 catches for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns last season, but the Cardinals remain well-stocked at receiver with Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, Jaron Brown and J.J. Nelson in action.
