A year after playing in only one game because of leg and ankle injuries, Grant averaged 4.2 yards per carry and rushed for 559 yards. He appeared to get stronger as the season went on, averaging 5.5 yards per carry over his final five games, including playoffs. As Press-Gazette staffer Rob Demovsky noted, it’s unclear how interested — if at all — the Packers are in re-signing Grant, but it’s starting to look like his best chance to play in 2012 might be with another team. “That’s a strong possibility, more than a strong possibility,” Herman told Demovsky. “It could be as early as next week. ...” Stay tuned.
