The Facts: The Cowboys benched Brad Johnson to start the second half of today's game against the Giants. Bollinger opened the third quarter under center.
Diehards Line:The initial results were not favorable. Bollinger was intercepted on his first pass attempt by James Butler. On the Giants’ second play of the ensuing drive, Brandon Jacobs scored on a 12-yard touchdown run to put the Giants up 28-7. Still, Bollinger subsequently connected with Terrell Owens for a touchdown. And he couldn't possibly do worse than Johnson, who finished the day after hitting 5-11 attempts for 71 yards and two interceptions.
