McCoy, Clay Ruled Out; Williams Probable; Bigger Role For O'Leary
Following up on the ongoing story. ... LeSean McCoy has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
McCoy, who reportedly has a torn MCL, didn't practice all week.
Karlos Williams (probable, shoulder) and Mike Gillislee will handle the rushing chores in McCoy's absence.
The team's official web site suggested today that Williams will start, with Gillislee serving as a "complement."
Meanwhile, Charles Clay (back) returned to the practice field today but he's also ruled out. Head coach Rex Ryan said tight end Nick O'Leary will have a much greater role this week.
