Sammy Watkins was limited in practice on Thursday due to the ankle injury that kept him out of the team's Week 7 loss to the Jaguars in London. It’s the second straight day that Watkins was a limited participant, leaving coach Rex Ryan with crossed fingers about having the wideout in the lineup.
“We hope he plays,” Ryan told Tyler Dunne of the Buffalo News. “If he’s at more risk I’d say no, but hopeful he’ll be ready to go.”
Ryan also said that it is safe to say that Percy Harvin will miss his third straight game this weekend. Harvin has been listed with a hip injury, personal issues and his current knee injury to explain those absences, which leaves little clarity to his status and little reason to think the Bills can count on him as an important part of their offense.
