Duke Johnson Making Waves As PPR Threat
As Profootballfocus.com's Mike Clay framed it: "Robert Turbin made his Browns debut in Week 6 and, from a fantasy perspective, the only thing he has achieved is the elimination of Isaiah Crowell as a viable RB2."

It's hard to argue the point.

During Weeks 1-5, Crowell had racked up 69 touches and was 21st among running backs in fantasy points. In two games with Turbin back, Crowell has 21 touches for 50 yards and is 54th in fantasy points.

Clay went on to contend that at this point, Duke Johnson is the only Browns running back worth considering for lineups. Since Week 3, Johnson paces the running back position with 31 receptions. He's second in both targets (34) and receiving yards (263).

Only eight running backs have more PPR fantasy points during the span. Johnson's struggles as a rusher (3.2 YPC) are cause for concern, but with the Browns likely to be playing from behind in this one, game flow should work in the rooie's favor.

Meanwhile, the Browns are near the bottom of the league in red zone offense (30th) with only seven touchdowns in 20 trips inside the 20. What makes that statistic odd is Josh McCown has a 96.1 passer rating. The problem is they have had no production from wide receiver Dwayne Bowe. Bowe, 6-2, was signed in the offseason to be a big target in the red zone, but he has been active only two games and has yet to catch a pass.

Wide receiver Andrew Hawkins is in the concussion protocol, so the Browns might be forced to activate Bowe this week. In addition, McCown is officially listed as questionable with shoulder and rib injuries; he's be a game-time decision although all indications are he'll be ready to go.
