Ahman Green Arrested Following Domestic Violence Incident...
According to the Associated Press, Packers running back Ahman Green was arrested Tuesday after a domestic violence incident.

The Brown County sheriff's department said deputies went to his residence after a 911 call ended with a hang-up. The Pro Bowler was arrested at about 10:10 p.m. Monday after officers believed a domestic violence incident happened.

The AP added that Green was taken to the Brown County jail, but he posted bond and was released.

According to local reports, the Brown County Jail confirmed that Green was booked at 11:30 Monday night. Sheriff's personnel told locl outlets that Green was subseqently released at 11:50 Monday night.

A court date for May 11 has reportedly been scheduled.

Packers general manager Ted Thompson released a statement that said the organization was trying to get more information.

"We obviously care about Ahman and the entire Green family, and we will continue to support them through this time," he said.

The organization wouldn't make further comments because it's a legal matter, he said.

Green has been with the Packers since 2000 and was selected to the Pro Bowl the last four years. He is second on the team's all-time rushing list after starting his career in Seattle. He played college football at Nebraska.

He is married with two daughters and a stepson, according to Packers publicity materials.
