McCoy Won't Play Again Until He's 100 Percent... However Long That Takes
Following up on the ongoing story. ... As expected, the Bills ruled out running back LeSean McCoy on Friday because of the hamstring injury that first cropped up several weeks ago.

But as Profootballtalk.com's Josh Alper notes, it may not be the last week that McCoy spends on the sideline.

McCoy spoke to reporters on Friday and said that he felt like he was hurting the team while trying to play through the injury during the first three weeks of the season. As a result, McCoy says that he’s not going to push himself back into the lineup until he feels like he’s totally healed.

“One thing I promised myself is I can’t go out there if I’m not 100 percent,” McCoy said. “So, if it’s this game, or next game — whenever it is, I’m rushing to get back but I’m not playing until I’m 100 percent. To be honest, I’m not the bruising type. My thing is make people miss and get out of there. If you can’t do that, you can’t do nothing.“

After facing the Giants this weekend, the Bills play three games against the Titans, Bengals and Jaguars before going on their bye week. It will likely be a guessing game about McCoy’s status for at least Week 5 and wouldn’t be surprising if the uncertainty lasts beyond that, which should mean plenty of work for rookie Karlos Williams in the near future.
