A.J. Green Officially Ruled Out For Wildcard Matchup With Colts
Following up on the previous item. ... A.J. Green has been ruled out for Sunday's Wild Card matchup against the Colts, the Cincinnati Bengals announced.

The star wide receiver was listed as doubtful Friday after suffering a concussion in Week 17. Green was scheduled for one last meeting with a doctor Saturday in an effort to get cleared.

Clearly it didn't go as hoped.

Green's absence leaves the Bengals with four healthy wide receivers, Mohamed Sanu, Brandon Tate, Greg Little and Cobi Hamilton.

Little joined the team in October, has six catches, and has been inactive five of the last seven games. Hamilton, a 2013 sixth-round pick, has been on the practice squad the last two years and has never played in an NFL game. Tate has 17 catches for 193 yards and a touchdown and while Sanu has 56 catches and five touchdowns with a career-high 790 yards, he was only targeted nine times in the month of December.

Tight end Jermaine Gresham (back), their second leading receiver with 460 yards on 62 catches, is listed as questionable after missing two days of practice but returning to work on a limited basis Friday.

Worth noting: The last time the Bengals visited Indy, they got thumped 27-0 in Week 7 sans Green.

Given that, the bottom line for fantasy owners remains unchanged: Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard will be relied upon heavily tomorrow -- even if the Colts stack the box and dare Andy Dalton to beat them with his limited receiving corps.

Hill leads the NFL in rushing since Week 9 with 929 yards.

As NFL.com's Kevin Patra suggests, "His tough, physical style coupled with big-play ability has powered the Bengals down the stretch of the season. Hue Jackson's offense will lean on the rookie once again."

Bernard's receiving skills are well known but don't underestimate Hill's ability to contribute as a pass catcher.
