Harvin Working Through A Completely Torn Ligament
Following up on an item in this week's Team Notes. ... According to Associated Press sports writer Dennis Waszak Jr., a third-degree ankle sprain kept Percy Harvin off the practice field Wednesday.

Nonetheless, ESPN.com's Rich Cimini reports all signs point to him remaining in the lineup to face the New England Patriots.

That he's able to run is a minor miracle, based on the diagnosis. Head coach Rex Ryan revealed that fact that suffered a third-degree sprain two weeks ago. By definition, a third-degree sprain is a completely torn ligament.

Harvin earned toughness points for playing 37 snaps in last Sunday's win over the Titans. Clearly, he wasn't 100 percent (he had no catches and one carry for 10 yards), but he reported the ankle feels "a lot better" than it did last week.

Meanwhile, Chris Johnson (knee) and Nick Folk (right groin) practiced fully Wednesday. Both will play as usual this weekend.
