Polk, Parkey Both Limited Wednesday; Too Soon To Know If They'll Play
Following up on an item in this week's Team Notes. ... According to CBSSports.com, Chris Polk was limited in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury.
He's run for 128 yards and a touchdown in 10 games, but playing a complementary role in a backfield led by LeSean McCoy and also boasting Darren Sproles, Polk's turns are sporadic.
Polk missed two games earlier this season with a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, kicker Cody Parkey, who has missed just 2 of 29 field-goal attempts this season, was a limited practice participant Wednesday. He is nursing a groin injury.
According to the Sports Xchange, it's too soon to guess on his availability for Sunday's game, though head coach Chip Kelly didn't seem concerned earlier this week.
I'll have more on both after today's practice.
