Jones, Jackson Return To Practice Friday
Following up on the ongoing story. ... Wide receiver Julio Jones and tailback Steven Jackson were both spotted at the club’s Friday workout, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reported (via Profootballtalk.com).
The Falcons’ leading receiver, Jones (67 passes, 912 yards, three TD receptions) had missed the first two practices of the week because of illness, while Jackson (128 carries, 467 yards, four rushing TDs) was also out sick on Thursday.
On Thursday, head coach Mike Smith had indicated Jones would play against Cleveland on Sunday even if he missed Friday’s practice.
