Baldwin Was Already In Line For More Looks Even Before Harvin Trade
Following up on the ongoing story. ... Marshawn Lynch had only 10 carries against the Cowboys last week, so look for him to receive a big share of the load against the Rams. But the player in the spotlight is wide receiver Doug Baldwin.
And that was the case even before Percy Harvin was traded to the New York Jets.
As ESPN.com's Terry Blount noted, after his rant last Sunday, look for Baldwin to get his touches this week, and look for quarterback Russell Wilson to try to find Baldwin on slant routes in the red zone, where Baldwin excels.
According to Blount, that should make him a sneaky and affordable salary-cap option.
