Michael Could Practice Today; Week 3 Return At Worst?
The Seahawks had a pretty bare injury report following Wednesday’s practice as only three players did not participate. Of interest to fantasy owners would be running back Christine Michael, who is still nursing a sore hamstring.

Michael could be back this week, with head coach Pete Carroll saying earlier today that the plan was that he would sit out today and possibly practice today.

At the worst the team expects him back next week.

That everyone else was full go means that rookie receiver Kevin Norwood is apparently healthy following foot surgery during training camp. According to Seattle Times staffer Bob Condotta, Norwood's return could make for an interesting decision come game day Sunday in San Diego as the team debates whether to keep all seven receivers active, or who to make inactive if they go with fewer.

Carroll gave a short, if potentially insightful, response when asked about the receiving position today. Asked if the team would need to carry an extra receiver if Norwood gets healthy and with Bryan Walters returning punts, Carroll said simply “no.”

That seems to hint at having six active receivers again against the Chargers, as they did against Green Bay.

With Walters now returning punts, he is a given to join the big three wideouts of Jermaine Kearse, Percy Harvin and Doug Baldwin as active on game day.

That leaves potentially two of Norwood, Ricardo Lockette and Paul Richardson, the team’s first pick in the 2014 draft, taken in the second round.

Lockette played 17 snaps against Green Bay and had a touchdown, as well as again being active on special teams. Richardson played just 10 snaps and did not have a catch or a target. Richardson was tied for the team-high in catches during the pre-season with Harvin, each having seven. But four of Richardson’s came in the first game at Denver as he was quieter in the final three pre-season contests.
