Wilson No Game Manager; Harvin Sizzles; Lynch Still A Beast

Blount continued, "So what if Wilson doesn’t put up eye-popping statistics, although 19-for-28 and 191 yards passing is nothing to scoff at. If you want to call him a game manager, go for it. But what Wilson does is consistently lead the Seattle offense down the field for scores, rarely make a mistake, and often come up with the right decision at critical moments."

True story. ... Wilson does the little things that often go unnoticed. His read-option fake in the second quarter had everyone in the stadium thinking Marshawn Lynch had the ball before Wilson threw it to Ricardo Lockette for a 33-yard TD.

And if there was any doubt about how big a part of the offense wide receiver Percy Harvin would be this season, everyone found out Thursday night. Harvin had seven receptions for 59 yards and four carries for 41 yards. He also had three kickoff returns for 60 yards. If you’re counting, that's 161 yards on 14 touches. ...

Oh. ... And Marshaw Lynch? He's still pretty good.

The veteran halfback ran for 110 yards and two TDs on 20 carries, along with one catch for 14 yards. As Blount suggested, it didn’t hurt that the offensive line looked vastly improved over last season, opening some big holes any beast could run through.
