With Dobson, Thompkins Ailing, Collie Rejoin Patriots
Following up on an item in this week's Team Notes. ... The Patriots re-signed wide receiver Austin Collie, Field Yates of ESPN.com reports.

Collie, who previously played in four games for the team and had three receptions for 34 yards, was released on Nov. 5 following the team's Week 9 win over the Steelers. Collie, 28, injured his knee during that game and was forced to depart.

With Aaron Dobson (foot) and Kenbrell Thompkins (hip) both missing practice time, Collie will be available to step in as needed.
