According to a report in the St. Petersburg Times and Rotoworld, Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Carnell Williams may start the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
Earnest Graham should open the season as the starting tailback for Tampa. The club signed Warrick Dunn in the off-season. Don't expect much fantasy production from Williams in 2008.

Rotoworld is reporting that the New England Patriots have met with former Detroit Lions running back Kevin Jones, who was released this off-season.
Jones is an excellent pass-catching back, which makes him a fantasy football threat in leagues that award points for a reception. If Jones were signed, it would make for a muddled backfield that already includes Laurence Maroney and Kevin Faulk.

An interesting article in the Baltimore Sun states that the Ravens may go with three wideout formations much more often in 2008.
This assumes that whoever is quarterbacking the club, whether it be Kyle Boller or Joe Flacco, can get them the ball. The Ravens would line up with Derrick Mason, Demetrius Williams, and Mark Clayton. Mason was among the league leaders in receptions in 2007.
