Quarterbacks

Tyrod Taylor @ Oak ($5,700)
Earlier in the season it seemed I was on Tyrod Taylor every week based on his cheap cost, and the added bonus of the rushing yards he can gain. Here we are Week 13 and Taylor is in the thick of a Bills playoff push. His priced has remained the same all season for the most part and he'll have the luxury of facing a Raiders defense that can't stop anyone. With Sammy Watkins now healthy, Taylor has a weapon outside of LeSean McCoy that he has yearned for all season. I'm comfortable playing Tyrod Taylor alone in tournaments or cash games. The incentive to win in hope of the Playoffs is a bonus factor!

Alex Smith @ Atlanta ($5,400)
I will start off by saying, Alex Smith is the epitome of " Game Manager" and I have often criticized his limited capabilities as an NFL quarterback. On a positive note, he doesn't make a ton of mistakes to hurt us either. Smith will get a Falcons secondary that is last in the league in pass defense, giving up 282 yards per game. To make matters worse, they just lost Corner Back Desmond Trufant for the season. The heat is on in Kansas City and their success is contingent on how Alex Smith performs. Smith won't get to face a weaker secondary all season. Jeremy Maclin intends on playing and that can only help the limited weaponry Smith typically has to work with.

Running backs

Jeremy Hill vs. Philadelphia ($4,300)
With the loss of Giovani Bernard, more opportunity has opened up in running game for running backs Rex Burkhead and Jeremy Hill. The Bengals will get a middle of the road Eagles run defense that is allowing 102 yards per game. Hill is a lock for nearly fifteen touches with five or six target's in the passing game. I'll go out on a limb and say he falls into the end zone at least once Sunday. He is too risky for cash games, but is definitely a tournament dart based on his opportunity and price point.

Tevin Coleman vs. Chiefs ($4,300)
Tevin Coleman has seven touchdowns in eight games this season. It is clear the Falcons like to use him with Devonta Freeman. The Chiefs are giving up the fourth most rushing yards per game (121.4) which may surprise some folks. The Falcons/Chiefs game could be a shoot out leaving plenty of production to be had. Coleman has had two 29+ point fantasy games this season, making him a tournament play with his upside, but he lacks the consistency and safe floor for cash games.

Wide Receivers

Tyreek Hill @ Atlanta ($4,600)
There is no looking back now! We are drinking the Tyreek Hill Kool-Aid and shouldn't we? He's been targeted 33 times in his last four games and is just coming off a 32.5 Point fantasy point day against the Broncos. It does look like Jeremy Maclin will play Sunday, making Hill less appealing to most. In the time Maclin has been out, Alex Smith has built a rapport with Hill. Where Hill is involved in Special teams as well as the receiving game, pairing him up with the Chiefs defense is a sharp/risky play Sunday. The ability to use a player that can benefit his individual fantasy production and defense/special teams in Daily Fantasy Sports is a rare player. Earlier in the season some fantasy player's did the same thing with Will Fuller and the Texans defense. Hill is a strong tournament play on a fast track Week 13.

Taylor Gabriel vs. Chiefs ($4,000)
When we think Falcons passing game we think Julio Jones right? Wrong. Taylor Gabriel has come on like gang busters the last four weeks with five touchdowns. Defenses have keyed in heavily on Julio Jones in their game planning, forcing Matt Ryan to explore other avenues. We havent seen enough of Gabriel to determine if he has a solidified role for the duration, but he is trending in that direction. At this point we can justify using Gabriel in cash games and tournaments. Play's like Tyreek Hill and Taylor Gabriel are allowing us to pay up at running back which has become an unusual, recent trend.

Tight Ends

Coby Fleener vs. Detroit ($3,500)
I find difficulty advocating for any offensive player on the Saints week to week based on Drew Brees and his history of spreading the ball around. Last week Brandin Cooks had ZERO targets. I have not been the biggest Fleener supporter dating back to the offseason but Sunday's matchup against the Lions seems optimal. The Lions rank 31st against tight ends so far this season. The Lions/Saints point total is the highest for the week (53.5) making plenty of room for enough fantasy production to go around. Tight End, outside of the top 3-4 has become real vanilla. Most tight ends have become touchdown dependent and Fleener is no different.

Vance McDonald @ Chicago ($2,900)
Big Vance McDonald is the epitome of what I was referring to when I wrote up Coby Fleener. A touchdown dependent player that basically commands anywhere from five to eight targets a week. McDonald has had double digit fantasy point weeks in three of the last four weeks, scoring in two of them. Jimmy Graham, Rob Gronkowski, and Jordan Reed are all the most expensive, and they are all questionable with injuries. Zach Ertz and Travis Kelce appear to be the safest at their respective position Week 13.
>Defense/Special Teams
Chiefs @ Falcons ($2,800)

I nailed the Chargers call last Week and this Week I'm filling good about an under priced Chiefs unit that is stacked with talent everywhere on defense. The Chiefs had five sacks, a defensive fumble recovery, a safety, and a touchdown in Denver Week 12. Here is an example of me dismissing the Falcons terrific offense so far this season and instilling my faith into a hot, cheap defense on the road.
