Quarterbacks

Derek Carr vs. Panthers ($6,100)
It is amazing to watch Derek Carr grow in the NFL each week, knifing through secondaries at home and on the road. Carr is averaging 20.7 fantasy points per game so far this season. People will view the Panthers as a tough match up, but they have struggled against the pass so far. The Panthers are at the bottom in pass defense allowing 271 yards per game through the air.

Carson Palmer @ Atlanta ($5,300)
Carson Palmer will have the luxury of playing the Falcons Week 12 on the road. The Falcons are allowing 283 yards per game, and have allowed 23 passing touchdowns on the season. Most people will remember his most recent disappointment against the Vikings and shy away from him. Palmer is surrounded by too much talent to not have a bounce back game Week 12. Dollar for dollar he is my favorite quarterback play of the Week. It is easy to forget Palmer was second in MVP voting just a season ago.

Running Backs

Duke Johnson vs. Giants ($3,600)
What if I told you Duke Johnson led the league in targets amongst running back's with 73? Unfortunately targets do not translate into automatic fantasy points. His price continues to dip, and now it is at a season long low. Johnson isn't safe enough for Cash games but he makes an intriguing tournament play because of his sporadic upside.

Chris Ivory @ Buffalo ($4,200)
Jaguars Running Back T.J. Yeldon is high questionable to Sunday's contest against the Bills and once again Chris Ivory could slide into the featured role. Ivory has had 17 or more carries in two of the last three games, with eight receptions. Using Ivory Week 12 will be contingent upon Yeldon's status but I love the volume he'll receive against a middle of the road Bills defense that has allowed 12 rushing touchdowns on the season and giving up over 100 yards per game.

Wide Receivers

Tyler Boyd @ Baltimore ($4,000)
The Bengals took a devastating blow to their offense last week losing A.J. Green and Giovani Bernard. The rookie Tyler Boyd will be thrusted into a starting role. Boyd caught six of eight targets with a touchdown Week 11. Tyler Eifert is now the most experienced weapon on the Bengals and will most likely see double coverage often. Boyd is the wild card of the crowd, I suppose the organization will get to see exactly what they drafted in Boyd sooner than later. Rookie wide outs historically are a work in progress, Boyd is a tournament play Week 12.

Tajae Sharpe @ Bears ($3,700)
Marcus Mariota has looked like an MVP candidate so far this season and given the fact that the Titans are a run oriented team, it is impressive. Mariota has utilized all his wide receivers at one point or another as well as his elite tight end, Delanie Walker. The rookie from Umass, Tajae Sharpe has scored in back to back weeks and has averaged more than 16 fantasy points per game. The Titans will get to face a middle of the road at best Bears secondary Sunday in a game that Marcus Mariota should thrive in. Sharpe has caught 11 of 19 targets over his last three week's.

Tight End

Vance McDonald @ Miami ($3,000)
Big Vance McDonald has had four straight weeks with six targets, and has scored in two out of the last three. Ever since Colin Kaepernick took over at quarterback he has used McDonald as a security blanket in the middle of the field. Big Vance is somewhat touchdown dependent and his production will be reliant on reaching pay dirt. His salary is cheap, freeing up plenty of cap space to be able to splurge elsewhere at wide receiver or running back.

Cameron Brate vs. Seahawks ($3,100)
When we look at the Buccaneers offense, outside of Mike Evans Cameron Brate has become a pretty dependable, secondary option for Jameis Winston to lean on. Brate has hauled in 17 of 21 passes over the last four weeks, and has caught three touchdowns in his last four games. There may be safer-more expensive options at tight end Week 12 but none at his price that have his tournament upside.

Defense/Special Teams

Chargers @ Texans ($2,700)

The Chargers defense and Special Teams has four interceptions, four defensive fumble recoveries, and three defensive touchdowns over the last four weeks. The Texans offensive struggles are well noted in large part to to the ineffectiveness of Brock Osweiler. I like the Chargers to make a few plays on defense this week and pay off their affordable price tag.
