As usual, I will review some of the injuries that occurred in the weekend and the implications they may have on your fantasy teams. This weekend was not as bad as the previous week, but there were still some injuries that can be impactful as the fantasy playoffs arrive. Let’s take a look at some of the injuries that occurred this week.

Rob Gronkowski – Patriots: Gronkowski left Sunday’s game after sustaining a back injury and was seen moving quite gingerly after the game. Initial reports suggest that he will likely not miss time due to the injury, but it is something worth monitoring throughout the week. For now, fantasy owners should be preparing for the worst and have a backup plan in case Gronk misses any time.

Lamar Miller – Texans: Miller limped off the field late in the fourth quarter on Sunday and did not return to the game. He has been battling an ankle injury for some time now and could have aggravated it. There is no clarity on the severity of the injury, so it will have to be something worth keeping an eye on throughout the week.

Chris Ivory – Jaguars: Ivory left Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury and was unable to return. At this time it is uncertain whether the injury will force him to miss time, but it is definitely something worth keeping tabs on. If he is unable to go, T.J. Yeldon, who is dealing with an ankle injury, will likely be called upon as the team’s workhorse.

John Brown - Cardinals: Brown was knocked out of Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury. He has been dealing hamstring issues all season and has already missed one game. We should know more about his Week 13 availability later in the week.

Allen Hurns – Jaguars: Hurns suffered a hamstring injury on Sunday against the Bills and did not return to the game. He suffered the injury in his lone catch, but it was for a touchdown. His status for Week 13 will likely depend on his practices throughout the week. It is something worth monitoring.

DeVante Parker – Dolphins: Parker suffered a back injury in Sunday’s win against the 49ers in a play that he made a spectacular catch in the end zone. He was unable to get both feet in bounds, so the score did not count. Initial reports suggest that he will be good to go for Week 13. We will keep an eye on his status throughout the week and keep you posted.

Players that were injured but returned to the game

Odell Beckham Jr. – Giants: right thumb
Jeremy Hill – Bengals: ankle
