Following up on a previous item. ... The Packers have ruled Greg Jennings out for Sunday's game against the Colts.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, head coach Mike McCarthy talked to Jennings and agreed would shut him down for the week, thus declaring him out.
McCarthy told reports that when Jennings is on the field, "we're a very good offense." But the coach added that availability is important and the offense can still find a way to play without him.
The bottom line is McCarthy wants his best players out on the field. And Jennings, at less than full speed, isn't that.
James Jones likely moves into the starting spot opposite Jordy Nelson with Randall Cobb and Donald Driver also moving up correspondingly in the pecking order.
