The Facts: Williams practiced with his teammates for the first time in seven months on Monday. The Titans took the fourth-year pro off the physically unable to perform list prior to practice, clearing the way for his first action since breaking his right ankle in January.

Diehards Line:He made a nifty catch on the first ball thrown his way in one-on-one drills, and later made another difficult catch look routine. But as Tennessean staffer Jim Wyatt pointed out, with the season just over a month away, Williams has some catching up to do. Williams also said his ankle still bothers him and that he realized he's going to have to play with pain this fall. "Most likely I'm going to have to play in some pain, but in the NFL it is more of what you can play with," Williams said. "Everyone is hurting out there; you just have to suck it up and play. ..." He might have to do that just to make the roster.
