Tapeh, who turns 28 next month, has spent his entire four-year career with the Eagles, collecting 219 yards of total offense and one touchdown in 39 games. The 243-pound Tapeh spent the 2004 and 2005 seasons playing under Childress, who served as Philadelphia’s offensive coordinator before being hired as the Vikings’ head coach prior to the 2006 campaign. Tapeh figures to replace Tony Richardson, an unrestricted free agent, as the lead blocker for Adrian Peterson.
