The Facts: Hilliard, released by the Giants earlier in the offseason, on Wednesday evening reached an agreement in principle on a one-year contract with the Bucs. Hilliard is expected to arrive in Tampa today to sign the contract. Financial details were not immediately available.
Diehards Line:Hilliard would add much-needed experience to a receiving corps sadly lacking in that department. Beyond projected starters Michael Clayton and Joey Galloway, the Bucs do not have any other receivers with more than 25 receptions in a season.
