The Facts: Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area, believes that Carlos Hyde may have to compete for the starting job.
Diehards Line:Hyde is the favorite to be the starter for the Niners, but rookie running back Joe Williams is expected to have a role as well. It is a situation worth monitoring as Hyde finished 12 yards shy of 1,000 rushing yards and scored six touchdowns, finishing 14th in fantasy points (standard leagues), despite playing just 13 games. If he receives a full workload this season and stays healthy, there is RB1 upside here.
