The Facts: Mariota made it through organized team activities without any issues. The QB practiced every day -- 10 OTAs in all -- and increased his workload from May and into June as he works his way back from last year's surgery on a fractured fibula. On Thursday, Mariota said he expects to be 100 percent for training camp. "I feel good," Mariota said. "My body is getting to the point where it is close to 100 percent, and once training camp rolls around, I'll be good to go.
Diehards Line:
So will Mariota do more in next week’s minicamp? “I don’t think so,” HC Mike Mularkey said. “I think, ‘Why now?’ He’ll be ready when we come back for (training) camp. ...” Mariota worked some in team drills this week in addition to his work in individual and 7-on-7 drills. Mularkey said he was involved in plays where the ball was designed to come out early, where he wouldn’t have issues with the pass rush. Mularkey estimated Mariota has worked in a half dozen snaps in team periods. The Titans begin training camp at the end of July.
