The Facts: According to multiple reports, Murray's hand was in a cast today after undergoing a procedure, but HC Mike Mularkey said he expects his RB back for camp.
Diehards Line:
Murray had been dealing with a nagging injury to his ring finger for nine months, and doctors decided to operate on it now rather than have it linger. But there’s no cause for concern. Still, this is off considerable interest to fantasy owners already wondering if this is the season Derrick Henry becomes a greater factor in the offense. Assuming he's fully healthy, Murray is the lead back. He led the way in 2016 with 1,287 yards and nine touchdowns on 293 carries, along with 53 catches for 377 yards and three touchdowns. Henry carried the ball 110 times for 490 yards and five touchdowns in 2016. He also caught 13 passes for 137 yards in his rookie season. While the pecking order could change at some point, fantasy owners should continue drafting as they have.
