The Facts: Elliott has made it known throughout this offseason, he wants to improve his running at the second level. Despite winning the rushing title as a rookie, Elliott said Wednesday that he "left a lot of yards on the field" in 2016. "I think there is big room for improvement," Elliott said, "being more comfortable, being able to anticipate more. That's what I'm working on this offseason."
Diehards Line:
In 15 games, Elliott totaled 1,631 yards and 15 touchdowns on 322 carries. No other running back was within 300 yards of his total. But when he watches film, last year's fourth overall pick sees opportunities to turn 30-yard runs into a 50-yard touchdowns. So what kind of total could Elliott end up with if he improves in this area? Are we talking 1,800 yards? Two-thousand? Fantasy owners' expectations are already high. Elliott's efforts to improve add to that.
