The Facts: According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Stills is returning to the Dolphins. He's informed his teammates.
Diehards Line:
The Dolphins made no secret all along of their desire to retain Stills, who was an unrestricted free agent. Nobody expected it to be easy either. With multiple teams -- including the Eagles -- expected to be in on the bidding, Miami retaining him suggests they were willing to venture into $12-million-a-year range. We'll see what the final numbers are, the Dolphins obviously didn't want to lose a receiver who led the team with nine touchdown catches and became one of HC Adam Gase’s favorite players. And now they won't.
