The Facts: Siemian underwent successful surgery on his left shoulder Thursday and is said to be doing well.
Diehards Line:
The procedure was minor and elective, and Siemian is expected to be fully recovered by the start of offseason workouts, which start earlier for the Broncos this season (April 3) because of the head coaching change. Siemian suffered a Grade 3 joint sprain in his nonthrowing shoulder in an early-season game at Tampa Bay and missed the second half of that victory and the next start. He played through the lingering discomfort the rest of the season, missing one other game because of a foot injury.
