Diehards Line: Elliott left Tuesday’s practice early due to the hamstring issue, then sat out Thursday after the team had a day off and sounds like he’ll continue to sit out until he feels he’s back to 100 percent. “I’m not worried at all about it,” he said. “I’m just honestly focused on getting back right because these things can linger all season if you don’t take care of them.” The Cowboys play their first preseason game next week, and though Elliott didn’t offer a guess on whether or not he’ll be cleared he sounded like he’s eager for some action. “It’s important for me to get back as soon as possible,” he said. “The more fast game reps you get the more you’ll learn. [The goal is] to get back as fast as possible but make sure you’re healthy.” Fantasy owners would prefer Elliott to be healthy over seeing him in action.
