The Facts: Rawls began training camp on the physically unable to perform list, but Pete Carroll continued to sound optimistic about the player's progress. "They're in fantastic shape," Carroll said of Graham and Thomas Rawls. "Nobody's worked harder than those two guys. I mentioned in the first meeting, you normally don't talk about the rehab guys. I'm talking about the rehab guys because of the effort and what they have given to this offseason. We want to see where they are under our guidance full-on, they're working twice a day. They're going to show us that they can do all of that before we make the next step."
Diehards Line:
Players can come off the PUP list at any time during training camp. The Seahawks have four straight days of practice before taking a break this Wednesday. Carroll said the team will take a look then to see where Rawls is. Rawls fractured his ankle and suffered ligament damage in December. He ran for 830 yards as a rookie and led the NFL with 5.65 yards per carry. At practice Saturday, Christine Michael, Alex Collins and Zac Brooks rotated reps at running back with the first team.
