The Facts: Doctson did a little more work on a side field with a trainer the day after he resumed rehab following a month of rest and treatment. Doctson said he woke up Friday morning and his injured right Achilles' tendon felt good.
Diehards Line:Doctson drew encouragement from that development, because previously, since suffering the injury in May, he would experience pain and tenderness the morning after activity. “Today was the real test,” he said. “It’s been weeks since I felt this good.” Doctson said the plan is to gradually increase his activity while still being closely monitored. He didn’t know of a set date planned for his return to practice, but it's something we'll be watching closely. Stay tuned.
