The Facts: Boldin is still looking for a home, and that search may not lead him to New Orleans. Despite a report that the Saints were interested in Boldin's services, Katherine Terrell of NOLA.com reports that the Saints haven't made an offer to Boldin.
Diehards Line:The Saints, who have one of the youngest and most inexperienced receiving groups in the league, looked into adding the 35-year-old Boldin this summer, but there’s no offer on the table. As PFT suggests, it may be tough for Boldin, who is coming off a season in which he managed just 789 receiving yards, to convince any team that he’s worthy of being a starting receiver. And Boldin isn’t a special teams contributor, which backup receivers are usually expected to be. So if Boldin is going to play another season, he may have to take a contract with little if anything guaranteed, and prove himself in training camp.
