The Facts: Seferian-Jenkins has missed 16 games during his first two NFL seasons because of injuries, but his absence from a portion of Thursday's practice wasn't related to his health. Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reported that Seferian-Jenkins left the field in the middle of practice and Seferian-Jenkins was on Twitter while the rest of the team was wrapping up practice. After practice ended, coach Dirk Koetter confirmed that he sent the 2014 second-round pick to the locker room early. Koetter said that Seferian-Jenkins "didn't know what he was doing."
Diehards Line:
There was nothing more specific about what led to his departure — “Can’t let negative stuff get to u,” Seferian-Jenkins wrote in one tweet. “Let it happen and move on!” Koetter added that no one should make too much of the early exit, although the injuries haven’t left room for too many positive headlines to balance things out during the tight end’s two-plus years with the team. We'll be watching for more.
