The Facts: Even though HC Bruce Arians has said Johnson will be the team's bell cow, veteran Chris Johnson will claim the starting job. They'll continue to pair together for a dynamic "thunder and lightning" backfield, but CJ2K's experience will win him the job.
Diehards Line:
The above "prediction" -- which is part of a piece tossing out 100 predictions on ESPN.com -- by Cardinals beat writer Josh Weinfuss is just that: a speculative blurb. But it's one that's likely to have some impact on David Johnson's ADP. And if it does? Jump all over him. Remember, Weinfuss' prediction comes in the wake of CJ2K claiming he and the younger Johnson will be one of the league's most dynamic duos. But Chris Johnson starting goes against everything Arians and GM Steve Keim have said this year. It also goes against everything we saw of David Johnson down the stretch last year. ... We'll continue to watch closely, but nobody should make huge changes to their predictions based on this prediction alone.
