The Facts: ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reported on Thursday that Bradford isn't answering calls from his HC and Doug Pederson confirmed that he hasn't had any contact with his QB. Pederson was asked about how much time Bradford would have to miss for it to impact his ability to start. "I think it depends on how and when he does come back and how fast we can catch him up and put him back in that situation and see where he's at at that time," Pederson said.
Diehards Line:Bradford's situation is made more interesting by the presence of Carson Wentz, the second-pick overall in last week's NFL Draft. While. Bradford is clearly the starter in the team's eyes as things currently stand, the trade request he made once it became clear a high-end pick would be spent on the position -- and his failure to take part in the voluntary portion of the off-season program -- is an issue. In fact, it's an issue that will make this one of the offseason's ongoing soap operas heading into camp. We'll continue to follow up as developments warrant.
