The Facts: Following up on a previous item. ... Manziel has a market and is drawing interest, according to agent Drew Rosenhaus.
Diehards Line:
That his newly-hired agent is putting this out there is not a huge surprise. Manziel was cut by the Browns March 11 after two turbulent seasons there. He hired Rosenhaus to replace Erik Burkhardt, who dropped him citing a lack of accountability. Manziel wants to continue his football career and Rosenhaus is at the NFL owners meetings apprising teams of his situation and what he is doing. “I’m not talking much about him publicly,” Rosenhaus said. “Much of his life and career is public so from the business side we are trying to keep that behind the scenes. Yes, there are teams interested in him.” Of course, Manziel faces some legal challenges in getting back into the NFL. He is still awaiting word from a Dallas grand jury regarding a domestic violence incident with a former girl friend. “I’m not going to get into that,” Rosenhaus said.
