The Facts: According to Inquirer staffer Jeff McLane, Givens is visiting the Eagles today.
Diehards Line:
The Ravens signed Mike Wallace on Tuesday, so Givens' presence is no longer required. Givens came over to Baltimore in a trade with the Rams, and caught 19 passes for 346 yards and a touchdown in 12 games filling in for the injury plagued Ravens. As Profootballtalk.com notes, that’s a strong per-catch average (18.2), but he’s never emerged as a consistent threat. The former Rams fourth-rounder was never more productive than his rookie year, when he caught 42 passes. Givens visited the Jets on Tuesday.
