The Facts: Fort Worth Police responded early Saturday to what they called "an altercation" between Manziel and his girlfriend. A police spokesman told Omar Villafranca of CBS News that Manziel was not arrested and that a report on the incident has not been completed.
Diehards Line:
Manziel, for now, is employed by the Browns. As PFT's Zac Jackson reminded readers, Manziel and then-girlfriend Colleen Crowley also dealt with police in Northeast Ohio following an October argument that started on the highway and extended back near Manziel’s suburban home. It’s not clear if Crowley is the woman involved in this incident, but she lives in the Fort Worth area. Crowley told police Manziel had pressed her head against a window during their October incident but later tweeted “it was just an argument.” The NFL investigated and decided not to discipline Manziel. New HC Hue Jackson has said he’s yet to speak with Manziel and that the team has made no decision on his future. Incidents like this -- even without an arrest -- are likely to help the Browns make their decision.
