The Facts: Following up on a previous item. ... The Steelers want to keep halfback Le'Veon Bell beyond the end of his contract in 2016, but won't rush an extension. The same holds true for Brown, who received a $2 million advance last season on his 2016 salary and has two years left on his contract. There is speculation Brown might seek more money again this year. "Obviously we've had a number of players over the years we've had to make contract adjustments with," team president Art Rooney said II said this week. "We try to be cautious how we do that. We'll just have to address that as the offseason goes on."
Diehards Line:Brown is a two-time All-Pro who tied for the league lead in receptions (136) and was second in receiving yards (1,834) in 2015. With 265 catches for 3,532 yards and 23 touchdowns over the past two seasons, one could easily make an argument that Brown is at the top of the list when it comes to NFL receivers. From a fantasy football perspective, he's clearly at the top of the PPR heap -- for many the No. 1 pick overall. Let's all hope that money doesn't come between Brown and a full offseason of work.
