The Facts: While Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin said this week that he'd give a hometown discount to remain with the team, the same can't be said of Kearse. "I love my hometown, but I've put in too much hard work to give a discount," Kearse said via text message. "My number one priority is to take care of my family's future, so I will consider all opportunities."
Diehards Line:
Kearse, who will be a free agent, had career highs this season in receptions (49), receiving yards (685) and touchdowns (5). The 25-year-old Kearse was born in Lakewood, Washington, and played college football at the University of Washington. In four seasons with the Seahawks, he has caught 112 passes for 1,599 yards and 10 touchdowns. He had 11 catches for 110 yards and two touchdowns in the Seahawks' loss to the Carolina Panthers in the NFC divisional-round playoff game.
