The Facts: Following up on a previous item. ... The Patriots made two changes to today's injury report. Special teams captain Matthew Slater returned to practice on a limited basis, and safety Patrick Chung (foot) was added to the injury report.
Diehards Line:
Chung's foot had been listed from Weeks 12-17 but was removed last week. Still, he was a full participant at practice, so that shouldn't be considered too much of an issue. Otherwise it was status quo with WR Danny Amendola (knee), TE Scott Chandler (knee), WR Julian Edelman (foot) and TE Rob Gronkowski (knee, back) among those limited. QB Tom Brady (ankle) and WR Brandon LaFell (foot) continued to work fully. Worth noting, weather issues on the East Coast notwithstanding, the Patriots' plan remains to travel to Denver on Friday; snow is not expected to be an issue in Massachusetts until Saturday or Sunday. Even then, the snow is not expected to be as big of a problem in that area as it will be farther south. In Denver, temperatures are expected to be in the low 40s, with no precipitation.
