The Facts: Blount is walking with the aid of crutches Tuesday, two days after injuring his left hip in the team's 27-6 victory over the Houston Texans.
Diehards Line:
Blount was injured in the second quarter on a 6-yard run with 8:14 remaining, and as he lay prone on the ground, members of the Patriots' athletic training and medical staff flexed his leg as they worked on his hip. Blount then walked off the field under his own power and to the locker room. With Blount's availability in question for this week, and perhaps beyond, the Patriots might consider adding another running back to the 53-man roster. Undrafted rookie Trey Williams is the lone running back on the practice squad.
