The Facts: The team announced that first-rounder Perriman has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season before it really began with knee problems.
Diehards Line:Perriman suffered a PCL injury on the first day of camp, and had surgery earlier this year in hopes of getting on the field at some point, but that never came to be. The team had already placed wide receivers Steve Smith, Michael Campanaro, and rookies Darren Waller and Cam Worthy on IR earlier this season. The Ravens also placed cornerback Asa Jackson on IR today and cut punt returner Jeremy Ross, signing wide receiver Kaelin Clay, tight end Chase Ford and cornerback Cassius Vaughn to fill the roster spots.
