The Facts: The Vikings returned from a week off for practice on Monday and Wallace didn't join his teammates on the field. On Monday, coach Mike Zimmer said, via Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press, that he "can't disclose" why Wallace is out of practice and answered "we'll see" when asked about the chances that Wallace would be in the lineup against the Chiefs this weekend.
Diehards Line:Wallace had his most productive game as a Viking in Week Four when he caught eight passes for 83 yards and a touchdown in a 23-20 loss to the Broncos, but sat out the team’s only practice last week as well. The Vikings have not had to put out an injury report since that loss, although there were reports last week that Wallace is dealing with a sore knee. Wide receiver Charles Johnson missed the Denver game with a rib injury and was seen working on the side during Monday’s practice. ... We'll be following up.
